I had never shot over 100 yards before, so this was a great opportunity with a well dialed in rifle.
Roamix Exposed | 4K Quality That Simply Doesn’t Exist
I bought 2 chinesium “4k Action Cameras” to see what works and what doesn’t.
I can say, without a doubt, one puts out crap video, the other is decent.
I took both to a shooting event recently. They were both tested.
The Roamix Vision+ 4k, or whatever it supposedly is, I had zero, ZERO!, usable footage from it. The sound was ridiculously bad. There was no image stabilization, and the images it produces, no matter which image quality, are all HORRIBLE! DO NOT BUY!
The Treklon, that’s a different story. I’ve already published a couple of videos from that camera and have more to come. I recommend the Treklon 1000:1 versus the Roamix.
Also, Roamix customer support WILL NOT stand by their product. They won’t replace it even though it is completely useless, They will not refund your money, because it’s china and they suck.
Just a heads up. DO NOT BUY ROAMIX!

I got to shoot at the Barrett 1000 yard range (Actually up to a mile!) at The Gathering 2026 by Palmetto State Armory.
We shot 6.5 Creedmore at 500, 600, and 700 yards. My first experience at those ranges. Tis is what the range looked like. Shooting videos coming soon!
